ABOUT US
Meet TimI am a Georgia native now living in Kentucky. I graduated from Shorter College in Rome, Georgia, and the Cumberland School of Law (Samford University) in Birmingham, Alabama.
I spent twenty-three years serving in law enforcement, and during the last half of my career, I had the privilege to lead a critical incident response team—a position that enabled me to minister to and counsel LEO family and friends during times of crisis. After retiring in 2019, I enrolled in The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary to pursue a degree in biblical counseling. I graduated in May 2022 with a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling, and I am a certified biblical counselor through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). I now offer in-person (Danville, KY area) and remote biblical counseling to those in need of counseling services. I will always have a special place in my heart for those who have experienced trauma and those who are in the first responder and military communities. |
Meet JennI am a North Carolina native living in Kentucky. I graduated from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. I spent thirteen years working in business consulting and financial services with Andersen Consulting and IBM. I specialized in writing best practices, resource management, and developing automated Excel reporting tools. In 2009, I left IBM to homeschool our three children. In 2012, I founded a private school in Nicholasville, Kentucky, that provides core and elective classes to homeschooled students. One of our children graduated from college in 2023; one graduated from high school in 2023; and our last child began high school in 2023.
In 2021, I started working for the Writing Center at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Boyce College. In early 2022, I began offering professional editing services to SBTS students. In July 2023, I transitioned from the Writing Center to become the SBTS Doctoral Style Reader. It is a joy to come alongside fellow believers as they prepare to serve the Lord in various ways around the world. |
